BMC Capacity Optimization 9.0: Administering

This five-day course combines classroom instruction with laboratory exercises to guide students through the basic concepts of BMC Capacity Optimization Extended Edition. Students will develop skills in product installation, administration, standard ETL configuration, reporting, modeling, and views. The course creates an environment where students can install and configure BMC Capacity Optimization Extended Edition to perform capacity analysis. Hands-on labs complement classroom instruction and develop confidence to apply the technology in the student’s own environment. Step-by-step classroom and laboratory guides are designed to help students with building and utilizing BMC Capacity Optimization Extended Edition both in the course and in their work.

Administrators

Responsible for installing, configuring, and deploying BMC Capacity Optimization. In addition, Administrators are responsible for ensuring that BMC Capacity Optimization leverages data and information transferred from other Business Service Management (BSM) products such as BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management, BMC Atrium CMDB, and BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management.

Developers

Responsible for configuring BMC Capacity Optimization to meet their business and IT requirements. Developers work to develop custom content such as custom connectors, report templates, and portlets for BMC Capacity Optimization.

Operators

Use BMC Capacity Optimization to manage BMC Capacity Optimization objects, perform activities such as creating reports and analyses, work with the BMC Capacity Optimization console to create views, generate reports and perform data analyses.
